Choose a problem or territory that matters, then contribute to it repeatedly from enough angles that people begin connecting your name with the subject.
Publish ideas, answer questions, help people directly, appear in relevant conversations, show work and create language or frameworks that are easy to remember.
Do not change positioning every month. Memory needs repetition.
At the same time, repetition alone is not enough. The association becomes stronger when your contribution has a recognizable point of view and useful proof behind it.
This is how category authority compounds: someone sees you discuss the subject, later hears your name from another person, encounters your work again, and eventually your name becomes one of the first retrieved when the problem appears.
Being “known for” something is less about one viral moment than repeated, coherent exposure.
