A post seen by 2,000 highly relevant people can be more valuable than one seen by 100,000 people who will never hire, buy from or refer you.

Build a personal baseline. Compare similar posts on your account and look at what happens after the impression: profile visits, new followers, saves, comments, direct messages, website visits and leads.

Account size matters too. Ten thousand impressions means something different for an account with 500 followers than for one with 100,000.

Use impressions as a distribution metric, not a self-worth metric. The useful question is whether the content is reaching enough of the right people to produce the outcomes the personal brand exists for.
