The easiest transition is to make the evolution visible instead of pretending the old identity never existed. Explain what you are moving toward, what from the previous field still matters, and why the new subject makes sense.
Use bridge content. If you are moving from sales into marketing, write about buyer conversations, positioning, handoffs and customer behavior before jumping immediately into advanced marketing commentary.
Your previous audience may not all come with you. That is normal. A personal brand is not valuable because every follower remains forever; it is valuable because it creates accumulated trust and proof of how you think.
Career changes often make a personal brand richer because the combination of old and new experience gives you an angle people who stayed in one field may not have.
