How do I write LinkedIn posts people actually read?

Most LinkedIn posts lose readers because the writer spends the first several lines warming up. Put the idea, tension or useful question near the top.
Then keep the post easy to process. Use concrete examples, short paragraphs, varied sentence rhythm and one main idea. Remove abstract business language. Give the reader a reason to continue instead of saving all the value for the final paragraph.
Specificity is one of the strongest readability tools. “A client said no” is less interesting than what they actually objected to and what changed because of it.
Finally, read the post aloud. If it sounds like a person you would avoid at a networking event, rewrite it.
Readable LinkedIn writing is usually clearer, more specific and more necessary, not simply shorter.
