How do I turn my work experience into content?

Your work experience contains content whenever there was a decision, mistake, pattern, surprise or change in how you think.

Do not start by asking, “What story from work can I tell?”

Do not start by asking, “What story from work can I tell?” Start with moments that taught you something. A project that failed. A client question you keep hearing. A process you changed. A disagreement that improved the work. A metric that contradicted your assumption.

Then remove confidential details and extract the useful idea. You do not need to expose clients or employers to write experience-based content. You can change identifying context, combine examples or focus on the principle.

A simple structure is: what happened → what I noticed → what I changed → what I now believe.

The strongest work-experience content does not read like a résumé. It gives the reader access to your judgment. That is what turns ordinary professional history into useful content.
