Why do I get views but no followers?
Views without followers usually mean the content was interesting enough to consume but the account was not compelling enough to continue following.
People follow when they expect a future reward
People follow when they expect a future reward. One strong post answers, “Was this useful?” A follow answers, “Do I want more from this person?” Those are different decisions.
Check whether your account has a clear subject, point of view or promise. If every post is about something unrelated, a viewer may enjoy one and still have no reason to subscribe. The same happens when a viral post attracts people outside your normal audience.
Look at profile visits after high-view posts and then at follow conversion. If people visit but do not follow, your positioning or profile may be unclear. If they never visit, the post may have delivered the value without making the creator memorable.
Social media audience growth depends on continuity: people need to know what they will get next.
