The whole reason this question feels awkward is that everyone tries to disguise a strength as a weakness, and every interviewer has heard "I work too hard" a thousand times. It reads as evasive, and evasive is worse than the weakness would have been.

What works: something genuinely true, that isn't disqualifying for this job, plus what you've built to handle it.

"I move too fast on detail work, so I've got a habit of having someone check anything that goes to a client." "I'm not naturally good at giving hard feedback, so I've made myself do it in the moment rather than saving it up."

Both are real, both are survivable, both show self-awareness and a fix.

What not to do: name something central to the job. If the role is precision work, don't say you're careless. And don't pick something so minor it's obviously a dodge.

The question isn't really about the weakness. It's testing whether you can look at yourself honestly. Answer that question instead.
